grepWin is a text search and replace tool that lets you search for a specific string in your files and replaces it with another.

You can search for a regular text match or use advanced RegEx syntax to search for complex text patterns that are similar but not identical. The search can be limited by file name and size, and also choose to scan entire folders with optional sub-folders. The program includes a RegEx tester that allows you to preview the results of your RegEx matches, as well as a content preview that displays the found text matches within the context of your files. Privatezilla 0.40.2

The Privatelzilla app is the simplest and easiest way to perform a quick privacy check and set the recommended settings. Next to this it allows you also to debloat Windows 10.

It integrates the most important Windows 10 privacy policies and allows you to quickly perform a privacy check against these policies. Active policies are marked with the status "Configured" as in the Group Policy Editor and indicates that your privacy is protected. The inactive ones are declared as "Not configured". All available policies (currently 50) can be enabled as well as disabled.

Privatezilla is easy to use. On the left side, you will see categories including Privacy, Cortana, Store, Apps, Updates, Gaming, Defender, Edge, and Security.

Next, you want to click on Analyze on the bottom-right to see which policies are enabled or disabled.

Returning to the left, we can now check or uncheck any of the policies you'd like to apply, or not.

FotoSketcher 3.70

FotoSketcher is a freeware Windows software that allows you to transform your digital photos in wonderful cartoons, drawings or paintings. It has many features, others are constantly added to new versions. You can use over 20 different styles such as pencil sketches, watercolor, oil paintings and many others. If you need to improve your images use one of his easy tools (example: contrast, simplify image, increase luminosity, saturation of colors). You can also add simple frames and text to existing images. The program is 100% clean and has no toolbars/installers or anything else that can be identified as adware/spyware.

FotoSketcher Review

FotoSketcher is a free graphic application designed to be easy to use for newbies and advanced enough for people that worked before with other graphic software. I tested this software on a computer running Windows 7 using both versions (installer and portable).

About the software…I can only think at something easy to use. I would like to say that all you have to do is to open an image, apply needed actions using one or more program features, save the image and there you go - enjoy wonderful results.

When I tested the program for the first time I modified one of my existing photos, used a "cartoon" style and sent it to my girlfriend. Immediately, she uploaded that image on Facebook and it received several "likes" from friends. One of her friends was so impressed saying that "Wow! What Photoshop can do!". I must say that I am not an Adobe Photoshop expert but this software will make you look like you're using an advanced program such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel PaintShop Pro or GIMP.

Obviously, it's not meant to be in the same league but there is no learning curve required. The truth is that everyone can achieve a similar result, you just need a couple of minutes or even seconds to convert your photos into art. You are allowed to do whatever you want with photos that you own. You can even sell created photos without having to buy a license or ask for author permission but don't forget that this is a free software and the author's work should be rewarded with a DONATION whenever is possible.

FotoSketcher 3.70 is now officially released.

This release is a bug fix edition which solves a number of small and not so small annoyances. This download is recommended if you are experiencing issues with version 3.60.

Bug fix list:

 - solved the occasional error message in French at startup ("n'est pas une valeur entière")
- solved the issue where on a few machines (on some PCs and Macs using WineHQ), the optimized code for rotating images and brushes did not work correctly (it breaks Pencil Sketch 1 and Painting 4).
- for Linux and MacOS users, FotoSketcher should now run correctly under WineHQ and Crossover
- fixed the drop down menus and icons which did not appear correctly in WineHQ
- in Painting 4, the directory for custom brushes is now saved to avoid unnecessary navigating between folders

- fixed the dropdown effects menu which sometimes prevented using the vintage or the merge images effect
- fixed the Pencil Sketch 2 preview which was not accurate

Options become available when right-clicking to open the context menu. Besides the typical uninstall method, you can apply force, which is an advanced method designed to scan and remove remnant files and registry keys. MEGAsync is a simple and easy to use application that enables you to create a path between a local source folder and a cloud drive, in order to perform file synchronization. The program requires that you create a MEGA account and set up your cloud drive, then select a local source folder for synchronization. Once you sign up, the rest of the process is simple. All you have to do is copy or update the files you wish to synchronize in the local dedicated folder. The transfer is done instantly.

Does the world really need yet another cloud backup storage solution? The answer is yes when you look more closely at what MEGA, the brainchild of Kim Dotcom, has to offer. First, there’s the offer of 50GB free storage space (capped to 10GB bandwidth a month), with paid-for plans offering 500GB/1TB monthly bandwidth from $11 a month or $120 a year.

Second, MEGA promises really tight security: 2048-bit RSA encryption no less. Your password acts as the master encryption key, so if it's strong enough it should be impervious even to brute-force attacks. Be wary, however: there are no password-reset options, so if you forget it, any data not shared with others will be lost.

Having 50GB to hand is very useful, but to make the most of it you’ll want a client that can make uploading and syncing data between your machines effortless. This is that client.

Once installed, you’re able to either sync the entire contents of your MEGA drive or just specific folders within it to your computer. These are housed inside a MEGA folder that’s created inside your personal Documents folder – if this doesn't suit, take a trip to the Sync tab of the program's settings to delete the default choice and add your choice of location instead. A bit fiddly, but at least it can be done.

Any data already in your cloud account will then download to your PC, while any files or folders copied or updated into this folder will upload in turn back to your MEGA account online. Open the folder in Windows Explorer and you’ll see tiny progress icons – red cross, blue sync and green tick – indicating if the files are in sync with your online storage or not.

Click the program’s system tray icon for a more comprehensive view of what’s going on behind the scenes: what’s being synced, recently synced items and access to the all-important settings. From here you can perform a number of tweaks, and even optimize the client’s bandwidth so that uploading doesn’t cripple your internet connection (in most cases, the automatic setting should be fine).
