Setup:

Although, the software itself is delivered as a setup file (installer) you can force the program to start in portable mode. The program will allow you to do this when it runs for the first time - make sure that "Portable forced" box is checked and read the instructions.

Using the program:

Despite its amazingly small size, there's a ton of features available. Everything starts with the (1) addition of the audio file that you want to change - open a file, (2) manipulate it however you want, and finally, (3) export it in MP3 format. In order to make the cut portion smoothly faded, you just select a large portion of the track near the end or the cut portion and Ctrl + F, then drag the dB box down to how much fade you want.

Note:
If you already have an older version of the Universal Installer:

• Overwrite "setavs.bat" and the files in the "AVSPLUS_x64", "AVSPLUS_x86", "AVSNEO_x64", "AVSNEO_x86" and "Tools" directories with the new versions.

Sometimes old installations of Avisynth may leave behind orphan directories and/or registry entries that could interfere with the new install. It's usually a good idea to clean up before using this installer (don't forget to make a backup of the plugins you need):

• Delete "C:\Program Files (x86)\AviSynth" and subdirs (just an example, your path to Avisynth may differ)
• Delete these registry keys:

The purpose of NDC is to have Windows automatically map network drives by network name when you logon, just like Windows 7 could be made to set the default printer by network name.

Network Drive Control allows you to configure the automatic mapping of network drives when you logon based on the network(s) to which you are connected. An example would be to have your laptop automatically connect and map one set of network drives when at home, and another set of network drives when at work or school, and none if it detects that the PC is connected to a network where no mappings have been configured.

Network Drive Control has no limit to the number of networks or drives that can be configured (except Windows built in limits), and drive letters can be redundant. i.e. If on one network you like a resource to be mapped to drive, say, X:, and on a different network you'd like to have a different resource also mapped to X:, you can configure Network Drive Control to do so.

Network Drive Control utilizes Windows features built into Windows Vista through 10 (both 32-bit and 64-bit), and supports drive mapping to a drive letter via Server Message Block (SMB), Common Internet File System (CIFS), Netbios, as well as WebDAV. (Note: Windows does not natively support drive mapping to a drive letter via FTP, so neither does Network Drive Control. Windows only natively supports "network place" mappings via FTP, and those network place mappings do not have drive letters. There are commercial products out there that can map drive letters via FTP though custom drivers.)
