“Why Can’t I Connect?” is a network diagnostic tool that makes it easier to resolve TCP/IP connection errors. Use it to diagnose connections to common server types (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL Server, FTP, SFTP, IMAP, POP3, SMTP, IRC, LDAP, Usenet) and create generic / user defined TCP/IP clients and servers.

Maybe a firewall is blocking the requested port, the port isn’t listening, DNS isn’t returning the expected address, DHCP hasn’t supplied a local IP address, the SSL / TLS certificate has expired, the WiFi login isn’t complete… The application will step through the connection process, resolving all IP addresses, displaying all sent and received messages in both hexadecimal and ascii. Any errors will be reported with possible causes for the error.

“Why Can’t I Connect?” is a DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ONLY. It will find the root cause of the error but it will not, apart from incomplete WiFi / wired network logins, attempt to repair the connection. The application is intended for users with some network experience or users who wish to be able to supply technical details to a help desk. Data Extraction Wizard.
The Data Extraction wizard lets you specify a set of entities or blocks and extract properties and attributes information. Reshape non-associative hatches using grip points.

If you disable the link between the hatch and the boundary, you can directly manipulate the shape of the hatch according to a new boundary configuration using the hatch grip points. Hovering over a grip point on a non-associative hatch entity displays a menu with edit options according to the specified type of grip point. For example, for a linear segment, you can choose to convert the segment into an arc or to add a vertex.

Lasso selection.
Specifies entities within a freehand. The entities can extend beyond the contour.

Hatch Background Color.
The following options are new to the Additional Options dialog box:

Save Current Workspace.

DimensionStyle.

• The Status option lets you display the current values of all dimension system variables in the command window.
• Loft. The Type option lets you specify whether the lofted entity is a solid or a surface.
• Sweep. The Bank option allows the entity to rotate along the specified sweep path.
