4) Rename the following three files in the default folder (C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus) to any names.

Options
All downloaded files are named like ‘Artist - Title.mp3’. ID3 tags are automatically generated. If you check the ‘Deep folder layout’ option, the files are stored as ‘\Artist\Album\Artist - Title.mp3’. You can choose whether cover images should be downloaded.

F3 / Ctrl+F Filter syntax
If you enter multiple words, each word must appear. If the word starts with a - sign, this word must not appear.
You can specify in which part the word must appear with title:, artist: and album:. For example ‘title:Crazy artist:Madonna title:-remix’ will show only songs from Madonna with Crazy in the title, but without the word remix.

Low Screen Resolution and High DPI Settings
If you have a small screen and set a higher dpi value, the application window maybe too large. You can enable a special mode if you set in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CompSoft\Lacey the DWORD BigFontLowScreenSize to 1.

Provider List
If you press the Ctrl or Shift key while selecting a provider, this provider will be selected and all others will be deselected. So you can switch between providers with one mouse click.

OpenMPT is a third-generation tracker — a music application with a focus on a mostly textual note representation with a strong keyboard focus. It comes with a built-in sampler but may also make use of external sound generators, including external MIDI synthesizers and “virtual synthesizers” called VST instruments. Contrary to many other trackers, OpenMPT makes use of the Windows environment, using the operating system’s native look and feel with sliders and buttons for visual-based input.

While the text display may look intimidating and old-fashioned compared to the big well-known sequencers at first, it allows for a very fast music composition process for the experienced user. The text-based event editing system is aided by a graphical sample editor and built-in sampler, and note data can be input through the computer’s keyboard or any external MIDI gear. With its flexibility, OpenMPT can appeal to all composers from electronic dance music genres to experimentalists to classical composers.
