This installer will automatically remove most other popular codec releases from your computer before installing this concise yet comprehensive package. 
These type of audio and video suites have been a problem for most users at one time or another. Due to the fact, there has never been an 'out of the box' working solution that the average computer user could install and just have everything work properly from the beginning. B&W Artisan Pro is a Photoshop panel that enables you to easily craft masterful B&W photographs faster and more intuitively, with just a minimum of Photoshop knowledge and experience. No steep learning curves and years of practice are needed to create striking B&W images for which normally advanced knowledge of B&W processing techniques and Photoshop was needed. Artisan Pro is not a ‘filter/effects’ panel that comes at the expense of creativity, but it is an editing panel that liberates, rather than restricts, creativity.

MAKING ADVANCED B&W EDITING EFFORTLESS AND INTUITIVE

1. One major obstacle in the creation of beautiful and sophisticated B&W photographs was that this was only possible with advanced PS knowledge or B&W processing experience. Making this a technical process that took away from the artistic process. By ‘hiding’ the advanced technical steps under a preset in this panel, now also beginners in Photoshop can create technically advanced B&W photographs, while the artist still retains full artistic control over the image. Which is unlike ‘full presets’ or filters, that have an artistic effect.

2. Another problem in any type of photo editing is to make very precise local adjustments that blend in seamlessly with the rest of the image. This is often a time-consuming and technical process that takes away from the intuitive artistic process. This panel solves that problem by enabling the artist to quickly indicate the area that needs to be adjusted, carefree with a freeform selection, and then darken/lighten subtly with the click of a button. The panel ensures the local adjustment blends in smoothly and precisely with(in) the adjacent areas.

SMART ADJUSTMENT FEATURES FOR PRECISE LOCAL ADJUSTMENTS.

1. Advanced Local Adjustments: enable accurate and subtle local adjustments by carefree and form-free indicating with the lasso tool the target area to be adjusted and then clicking the darken/lighten preset. The change will be applied in a smart and seamless way while avoiding any abrupt transitions with adjacent areas. If you already have a pre-created mask, you can use these too with this new feature.

2. Micro-Zone Local Adjustment: the same as Advanced Smart Linear adjustment but now the local adjustments affect only a selected range of tonal values only, within the target area, by using advanced 16 bits customized asymmetrical masks that work behind the scenes (no knowledge of luminosity masks is needed) for even more accurate and seamless tonal and contrast adjustments.

ADVANCED EDITING TECHNIQUES UNDER THE HOOD

B&W Artisan Pro consists of presets that trigger features, that aren’t readily available in Photoshop. Each preset triggers a specific sequence of combined advanced PS features and also ‘hidden’ PS features, that sometimes consists of more than hundred different steps, in a way that reflects Joel Tjintjelaar’s signature B&W processing style and techniques to render a non-destructive result.

The Document Foundation released today the LibreOffice 6.2 open-source and cross-platform office suite, a major release that introduces several new features and lots of improvements.

Six months in developmnt, the LibreOffice 6.2 office suite is now available for download and features a new user interface called NotebookBar, which is based on the MUFFIN concept and was previously an experimental feature. The NotebookBar UI is optional, not enabled by default, and comes in three different flavors, Tabbed, Grouped and Contextual.

"The Tabbed variant aims to provide a familiar interface for users coming from proprietary office suites and is supposed to be used primarily without the sidebar, while the Grouped one allows to access “first-level” functions with one click and “second-level” functions with a maximum of two clicks," said The Document Foundation.

Here's what's new in LibreOffice 6.2

Highlights of the LibreOffice 6.2 release include revamped Elementary and Karasa Jaga icon themes, better compatibility with Microsoft Office documents like charts and animations, document security features thanks to encryption and HMAC verification implementation, as well as faster filtering of indexed keywords and highlighting search terms.

The Writer now lets users copy spreadsheet data into tables rather then inserting them as objects. Calc now supports multivariate regression analysis via the regression tool and features a new REGEX function that lets you match text against regular expressions, and the analysis output now contains numerous statistical measures. Impress and Draw now lets users modify the motion path of animations by dragging the control points. Draw also received a Format Table submenu.

Last but not least, LibreOffice 6.2 makes the context menu more consistent across various components of the office suite, improves the performance of the change tracking, especially when dealing with large documents, and improved the cloud-based LibreOffice Online suite with a revamped on-screen keyboard, as well as a simplified and more responsive user interface for mobile devices.

LibreOffice 6.2 is the second point release in the LibreOffice 6.x series and will be supported until November 30, 2019, with no less than seven maintenance updates, the first one, LibreOffice 6.2.1, being scheduled for the end of the month. You can download LibreOffice 6.2 for GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows right now from our free software portal. Smarter Battery 5.3

Smarter Battery is a battery monitoring utility for portable computers, intended to provide you with all the battery data, to help prolong its life and save its energy. It shows you the evolution of the battery's capacity during the charge / discharge cycles and computes a few important battery parameters, such as the wear level and discharge cycles count. This program continuously reads the battery data, making a prediction for the time remaining; it also features two alarms, for low / critical battery capacity, triggered by either values of time remaining or capacity percentage you set.

The battery capacity evolution is graphically displayed for up to 16 hours period of time, so a complete charge or discharge cycle can easily be visualized and analyzed. Both Calibration and Fast Discharge procedures were updated to perform better on Windows laptops or tablets. A battery gadget can be displayed by this utility; it has many format options and it offers you a fast, clear view to the current battery state.
  

  
Features:

Battery Information
The Battery Information page is automatically displayed when this utility is launched and maximized; in the left side fields are a few important parameters of the system battery, while the right side ones show capacity information. The first battery found in your system becomes the current one, and all the data and program commands will use it as reference. Battery X is displayed in the upper left corner, if there are several ones; press it to select another battery, when it's available, and both information pages will be updated accordingly.

Capacity Evolution
The Capacity Evolution page offers you an easy way to understand evolution of the current battery capacity. A thick orange line is drawn, for a default interval of 60 (elapsed) minutes, displaying the capacity percentage at a certain moment. This graphic can be saved as jpg picture in program's folder, automatically numbered (SBshot1, 2 and so on), using the Save Picture button. If the Battery Mode is Discharging, a thin red line will be displayed, representing the extrapolated future graphic of the battery power, based on the time remaining read from battery or estimated by the software. For a good battery, most of the time this red line should be parallel with the orange one, without big angle changes (drops of battery capacity). The battery capacity evolution is not linear in most cases, due to the processor usage, hard disk activity, screen brightness and so on. This utility version brought you a wider time interval for the capacity's graphical representation, up to 16 hours.

Settings
The Settings page contains all the program options and two customizable battery level alerts (Warning and Critical, independent from the Windows' ones), on second page. If an option is modified here, it is instantly executed; you can save all these settings using the Save button from the upper side.
The second page contains the battery Level Alerts, triggered by the current battery values: Warning Alert is the first one; if enabled, it will be triggered by the value of time remaining or the capacity percentage. Critical Alert - when it occurs, more battery power can be saved by turning off the monitor or by putting your system in standby or hibernate mode.

Calibration
Calibration page: there are statistical information for the first system battery: the Wear Levels, Full Discharge Cycles, Usage Time and other calibration values; they give you a complete image about your battery life. In order to keep these data accurate, this utility must be kept running all the time on your computer, having the first battery selected. A Fast Discharge procedure is also present here; when started, it can supplementary load the system processor, modify the display brightness and increase the hard disk activity. This can be useful during the calibration process, to speed up the battery discharge.

WebPages
WebPages shows you several buttons connecting to the Home, Download and Purchase Pages of the program, as well as the customer Registration data. There is also a button facilitating the e-mail communication with us; it automatically launch your default e-mail software if installed any.
