Restorator is the Bome flagship product and has been used for resource editing since 1997. Continuous development based on user feedback made this application the leader in application customization software. Restorator is an award-winning utility for editing Windows resources in applications and their components; e.g. files with .exe, .dll, .res, .rc, and .dcr, extensions.

Restorator modifies resources. Resources are application-dependant data that the respective programmer includes in his program. Inside the program file they are separated from the program itself and therefore may be changed. This is the technical condition to create custom applications.

In the file, resources are organized in a tree : The first level defines the resource type (Bitmap, Icon, etc.) and the second level defines the name of the resource (”MainIcon”, “SplashScreen”, etc.). Windows provides some standard resource types whereas other resource types may be defined by the programmer and are displayed by Restorator in upper case. The .res file has been standardized, allowing you to save all resources in one file. Restorator includes full support for creating/editing/opening/saving res files.

Atmosphere Deluxe is designed to help mask noise, promote relaxation or even to replace an entire collection of natural sound CDs. You can listen to the soundscapes in realtime or use the inbuilt recorder to create your own relaxation / ambient sound CDs or MP3s using the sounds you find most pleasing. The soundscapes created are extremely authentic and if you have purchased a commercial license, you are free to sell your created recordings and use them in commercial projects.

There are over 50 soundscapes included which can be loaded with one click from the main interface. However the real beauty of Atmosphere Deluxe is the ability to customize these inbuilt soundscapes exactly to your liking, or create entirely new ones by adding individual sounds to a blank soundscape.

As an example, if you load the 'Oceans edge' scenario you will hear the sounds of waves lapping on the shore, plus a gentle fire crackling and distant crickets. If you prefer not to hear the fire crackling, this can be turned off so you only hear the waves and crickets. Alternatively you may wish to add a sound such as a gentle breeze blowing through the trees along with the waves and crickets. You can add as many or as few sounds as you wish to create your ideal soundscapes. The individual volume of each sound can also be adjusted to suit your taste. You may save as many soundscapes as you wish and they will be ready for quick recall at anytime.

Although Atmosphere Deluxe comes with mainly relaxation and nature based soundscapes, it offers the ability to load in 16 additional background sounds and 32 random sounds at any one time alongside the inbuilt sounds, so if you have your own sounds you may load these into the program and use them in exactly the same way as the inbuilt sounds. We have many free expansion sounds and scenarios available from the Atmosphere Deluxe section of our website which vary from additional nature / relaxation based soundscapes to more urban soundscapes such as cafes on leafy boulevards and busy cities, so if there is a soundscape or individual sound you'd particularly like that isn't included, the chances are it's available from our website as a free download. Issues error running the tool?

- Check if you are running the exact patch/build for the version.

Ketarin is a small application which automatically updates setup packages. As opposed to other tools, Ketarin is not meant to keep your system up-to-date, but rather to maintain a compilation of all important setup packages which can then be burned to disc or put on a USB stick.

I created this application, because I couldn't find anything like it when I needed such a functionality. Since I don't want my efforts go to waste, I decided to release it to the public. Ketarin is open source, so you can also extend its functionality to fit your needs (just note that you may not use the icons that ship with it freely as well). I'd also appreciate source code contributions. Ketarin is written in C#, for the .NET Framework 4.5 and uses SQLite as database engine.
