Avira Scout is fast and secure Chromium-based browser, which provides a wide array of options that protect your system, and gives you a more secure environment for browsing the Internet.
As Avira Scout is based on Chromium, it has a familiar user interface, gives you a rapid browsing experience, has support for add-ons and extensions, and it is customizable.

The really useful things about Avira Scout is the array of secure, solid technologies and extensions that it comes packed with, as you would expect from Avira, a leading Antivirus solution on the market.
In addition to the robust framework that it is based upon, Avira Scout comes with a built-in set of security extensions, namely Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere and Avira Browser Safety. Privacy Badger looks for potential trackers from the websites you visit and gives you a quick way to control them, whilst the HTTPS Everywhere enables you to block all HTTP requests.
Overall, Avira Scout is a good browser. It has a familiar interface, is packed with secure extensions and tools and gives you a slick browsing experience. On the downside, it does’t come with a built-in ad-blocker, which we would have liked to have seen.
